The Psychosis Therapy Project provides specialist individual, group and art psychotherapy for people who experience psychosis.
We are a team of psychoanalytically trained practitioners and trainees working in the area of psychosis.
We work in the community with people who are socially and economically excluded and receive very little support besides medication.
The project is committed to strategies of stabilisation and the management of persistent symptoms.
The therapy and the support we offer is long-term, giving clients time and space to articulate distressing experiences and cultivate robust and enduring solutions.
We operate across London in collaboration with Islington Mind, Lambeth & Southwark Mind and Mind in Haringey. The North London branches operate at the Mind Hub, 48 Despard Road, London N19 5NW (020 7263 3397) and Mind in Haringey, Station House, 73c Stapleton Hall Road, London N4 3QF (0208 340 2474). The South London branch operates within L&S Mind’s Psychotherapy Clinic, 336 Brixton Road, London SW9 7AA (020 7501 9203). In response to the Coronavirus crisis, we have developed the USEMI virtual clinic, a specialist therapy service for communities of colour.
